Revisiting my Hometown

By: Ma. Guandelyn Balmes

Memories of my childhood years flashed back as I saw the house where I grew up as well as some of my childhood friends and neighbors. We roamed around downtown and I was amazed about how 16 years of absence made a huge difference of how my hometown looked then and now.

I Love Baler

By: Emmanuel Balmes

Baler is one of the places where people seldom go to. One possible reason is that the road to and from baler are unpaved roads. But that didn’t stop us from conquering the Sunrise Capital of the Philippines on two wheels.

Maganda ang Pilipinas

By: Sherjo Evangelista

Having visited different places in one week made me realize that there is so much more to see in our country. We have just visited the common tourist spots and yet we were amazed at what we saw. What more if we would explore the unfamiliar towns, provinces and cities that the Philippines has to offer? I am often confused at the usual reaction of people whenever they see a nice photograph of a place, most of the time I hear "Parang di sa Pilipinas yan a?!", shouldn’t it be "Ang ganda ng Pilipinas!"?
