Maganda ang Pilipinas

By: Sherjo Evangelista

Having visited different places in one week made me realize that there is so much more to see in our country. We have just visited the common tourist spots and yet we were amazed at what we saw. What more if we would explore the unfamiliar towns, provinces and cities that the Philippines has to offer? I am often confused at the usual reaction of people whenever they see a nice photograph of a place, most of the time I hear "Parang di sa Pilipinas yan a?!", shouldn’t it be "Ang ganda ng Pilipinas!"?

Paradise Regained

By: Sonjie Hernandez

My first trip to Boracay was in 1994. When my husband opted for early retirement in 2004, we decided to celebrate the event with the family. We revisited Boracay. It was Nov. 30, ‘04 . . . a good 10 years after our first visit. It was a touching and inspiring experience. I am reproducing my insight so I can share it with you.

My Ilocos Experience (Article Contribution for I Love Philippines)

By: Joey Rico

I’ve read a lot about how really beautiful vigan is and seeing all those great pictures of the old streets and buildings in vigan I said to myself I had to go see it but hadn’t had the chance to go see.

Then while browsing multiply I came across a post made by TRAVEL ADVOCATE and offering reasonable rates I said to myself I had to go in this tour called THE ILOCOS EXPERIENCE.

Sunset in Boracay

By: Junerey Baladhay

These Boracay sunset photos remind me of an old hymn we used to sing in the church. It goes…

There’s the wonder of sunset at evening, The wonder as sunrise I see; But the wonder of wonders that thrills my soul; O, the wonder that God loves me. O, the wonder of it all! The wonder of it all! Just to think that God loves me.

My Taal Experience

By: Benjamin Uichico

The place truly fascinated me as there was very minimal reminders,
if any, of a commercial or city life.

Neither fastfood chains nor large commercial districts can be found in the town
as the municipal government has done this by design
to preserve the historical perspective of the place.

Baguio Christmases

By: Eunice Gatchalian
Even though we go to Baguio every year, our stay there does not feel the same every time. Somehow, we still keep some of our family "traditions", like spending a day at Camp John Hay, going to Starbucks at night or even having hotpot dinners, but we are still able to find new things to do every time. We also enjoy the weather in Baguio, with the cool winds and occasional drizzle.
